Phyllis Schlafly

Hi my name is Phyllis Schlafly. I was born August 15, 1924 In St. Louis Missouri U.S. I was known for standing up for women's rights because I thought that women can do whatever men can do. I started college early and went to Washington University. I worked as a model part of the time. I graduated from Phi Beta Kappa in 1944 from Washington University. During World War II I worked as a ballistics gunner and technician at the largest ammunition plant in the world. I earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington Missouri. In 1946 I became a researcher for the American enterprise institute. I got married October 20,1949 and had six children. I died on September 5, 2016 at the age of 92.
