Jane Wyman

Hi! I am Jane Wyman from St.Joseph, Missouri. I was born on January 5, 1917. I am famous for my seven decades of acting, singing, dancing, being a philanthropist and winning 18 awards. My parents divorced when I was eight years old, and the following year my father unexpectedly passed away. After my father passed away my neighbors  adopted me. I went to Lafayette High School in St.Joseph Missouri. I attended the University of Missouri and  began a career as a radio singer. In 1935, I was a chorus dancer in the musical King of Burlesque which was my first film. I won an oscar for best actress in the film Johnny Belinda. I made 89 films, I was a star in the television series Falcon Crest. In 1948, I was the first person to win an Academy Award. I have two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I was married to Ronald Reagan before he was president. I had three children and was married several times. I  passed away on September 10, 2007.
